They lived in Richardson for 40 years and after Shirley passed away in 2008, he moved to Cumming, GA to be with his daughters and their families. Shirley and Gabe were members of NorthWest Bible Church of Dallas and enjoyed volunteering in the community, supporting their daughters at any and all activities and getting together with friends and family. On Aug 22nd, 1959, he married the love of his life, Shirley Ann Lancaster, in Durant OK.
Gabe was born Oct 31st, 1934, in Starkville, MS to Willard Humphrey and Ethelyn Critz Utz. He was lovingly known to his 3 grandchildren as “Poppy Oojoos”. Gabriel Crisler Utz of Richardson passed away in Cumming, GA Sat., Feb 23rd, 2013.
